History

1999. Eliseo Gutierrez was an employee at a restaurant in Alabama and that spring he was invited by Jose Luis Barragan to be his partner in this new project of a Mexican restaurant called Pepito’s. After the successful opening, Pepito’s starts the traditional Monday Margarita Nights. Since then, we have been serving delicious and healthy Mexican food with the freshest ingredients, right in the heart of Destin, Florida.

2006. Eliseo Gutierrez companies have grown to 3 restaurants in two states, Pepito’s Mexican Restaurant in Destin Florida, and two other restaurants in Alabama.

2008. Eliseo Gutierrez purchases all the partnership of Pepito’s and happens to be the only owner of the company.

2008. Today the Pepito’s project continues to grow, opening new locations in the Emerald Coast.
